My Little Gymnast

About six weeks ago I signed Abigail up for gymnastics at Everybody Fits. She has so much energy, so I thought why not have her channel it through a fun class...and I wanted to see if she would actually enjoy it. Each week she gets a little better and a little less clingy. She really loves the jumping part and ususally the bars. The beam, on the other hand, isn't a hit yet. So, this past Wednesday she wore her new leotard she picked out with some of her birthday money. I had to take some pictures cause she looked soooo cute...and she LOVES the leotard!!

My Cousin's Wedding

This past weekend we travled to Little Rock, AR for my cousin's wedding. We made it there early enough to visit my friend Heather and her family. She actually kept Abigail for us that night. We had a BBQ for the rehersal dinner on Friday night. It was sooo good. Saturday we spent a little more time with Heather before heading to the hotel to meet mom, dad, and my grandparents. We did a little shopping and had lunch, then rested for a while. The wedding was at 5:30. It was so nice and simple, which I loved. Eddy and I also saw our high school band director, which was totally unexpected and awesome!! After the wedding we headed to the Clinton Library for the reception. It was beautiful! Tim is from Uganda, so the decorations pulled in traditions from his country. There were drummers, beautiful flowers, and talk about a great view from the room. Downtown Little Rock isn't much, but from the library was wonderful! We had a couple of fun firsts while there as well. Mom and dad danced for the first time, as did my grandmother!! And grandma tasted a glass of wine! Most of you don't know my grandparents very well, but I thought we were all about to pass out when she asked for a little to taste!! Sunday morning they had a come and go breakfast at The Peabody, so we stopped by for breakfast before heading home. It was a wonderful wedding weekend. Congratulations Julie & Tim!! Thanks for such a great weekend!
